Criterios de inclusión:
- Los participantes de la investigación serán pacientes adultos en el Programa de Recuperación de la Dependencia Química de Kaiser Permanente San Francisco, que hayan completado 2 semanas de tratamiento.
Criterio de exclusión:
- El médico excluirá a los pacientes con un diagnóstico de demencia, retraso mental o que sean activamente psicóticos o suicidas.

Tratamiento habitual de EC, incluidos grupos de terapia y sesiones de asesoramiento individual, y seis grupos de educación médica de 45 minutos.

Experimental: Intervención de activación del paciente de vinculación
Atención habitual, con la excepción de que los seis grupos educativos de activación del paciente de vinculación de 45 minutos reemplazaron los seis grupos educativos médicos de atención habitual de 45 minutos, más una llamada telefónica de vinculación (y/o un correo electrónico facilitado) con el paciente, el médico y Atención primaria médico.

Usual Care más Linkage abarcaba Usual Care con la excepción de que los seis grupos de educación de activación del paciente de Linkage de 45 minutos reemplazaron a los seis grupos de educación médica de Usual Care de 45 minutos, más una llamada telefónica de enlace (y/o un correo electrónico facilitado) con el paciente, clínico y médico de Atención Primaria. Los componentes de la intervención de activación del paciente: 1) seis sesiones de vinculación de 45 minutos sobre la activación con respecto a los comportamientos generales de salud y 2) una llamada telefónica de vinculación (y/o un correo electrónico facilitado) con el paciente, el médico y el médico de cabecera, fueron entregados por un psicólogo clínico. |
