The Global Perspectives team helps scientists improve health outcomes through a better understanding of patients and their treatment preferences.

The Patient Supporter role is a key position within Global Perspectives and the Patient Recruitment team, an innovative and forward-thinking team at the cutting-edge of new patient recruitment and engagement strategies. This position is a great opportunity for people who enjoy speaking to a wide variety of people around the world and who are interested in developing their professional career in the health care sector.

What the role looks like

  • Delivery of patient recruitment and engagement strategies.
  • You will have a key role in the implementation and delivery of innovative solutions to enrol and engage patients in non-interventional clinical trials.
  • You will work very closely with the patient, as well as with the Project Management team, and partner with Patient Organisations and other stakeholders.
  • You will lead and be responsible for recruitment success, including meeting key performance metrics, delivering within timelines, and customer satisfaction.
  • Patients and their journeys will drive your day-to-day delivery.
  • Utilize various methods for recruitment including Social Media, Associations, Health Care Practitioners, first contact calls with patients, emails, and other materials, to locate and recruit potential participants
  • Patient recruitment will involve validating to assess an individual’s suitability for a particular study.
  • You can also become a Subject Matter Expert on different areas such moderation, Patient Organisations, Patient Community, and other industry trends.
  • You will also ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
  • You will regularly get involved in problems solving, process review, improvement activities and innovation implementation.

 What you need to apply

  • Full written and verbal communication skills including good command of English. Other languages will be appreciated.
  • Great Social Media and Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office.
  • A University Degree in Foreign Languages, Tourism, Marketing or Social Media is preferrable
  • Excellent organizational, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
