Team Description

We are looking for an Epidemiology and Outcome Research Specialist EORS to join Medineos, the IQVIA Company based in Modena (Italy) dedicated to observational research as  part of the IQVIA Italy Real World Solutions Department. ,  .  The team serves the Italian market supporting Pharma companies and Scientific Societies in the design and conduction of observational international multicenter studies, with both primary and secondary data collection: from study protocol writing, site authorization process, development of the electronic data capture systems, risk-based centralized data monitoring and cleaning, data analysis and dissemination. The team is specialized in the collection and management of electronic patient-reported outcomes.

We are looking for an Epidemiology and Outcome Research Specialist EORS to join our expanding company. Mission: Designs methodologically correct clinical studies and elaborates reports and scientific presentations with clients and key-opinion leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collects and reorders the strategic and technical customer requirements related to observational research projects, preparing the relevant documentation
  • Writes the study protocol, including the calculation of the sample size
  • Defines the eCRF content and technical requirements  according to study protocol .
  • Plans the statistical (Statistical Analsysis Plan) .
  • Elaborates the statistical analysis reports and executes the related quality controls.
  • Responsible for study results dissemination and communication with clients, key opinion leaders/medics during meeting or scientific communications.

Skills, Education and Experience Required         

  • Degree in statistical discipline (or science degree in providing an adequate number of courses/exams related to statistics) or master's degree in statistics or epidemiology
  • Professional experiences: preferably in the field of clinical research or biomedical or biostatistics
  • Knowledge of clinical methodology and epidemiology, as well as the pharmaceutical marketing
  • SAS programming is preferrable but not mandatory
  • She/He has analytical skills and effective communication skills
  • Excellent English spoken and written
