As a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.

• Maintain accurate documents pertaining to the receiving, dispensing, returning and/or destruction of all study mediations.

• Oversees all pharmacy technician operations and the scheduling thereof.

• Address any problems or issues that occur pertaining to the study medication during the duration of the study.

• Familiarize and understand protocol specific requirements.

• Oversee, coordinate,  account for and dispense study medication  based on protocol instructions and within data provided by the sponsors.

• Attend study start up meeting whenever possible to review Pharmacy protocol procedures.

• Maintain and organize the Medication Rooms.

• Carry out all reasonable directives from the project Manager (PM), Medical Director (MD) or Principal Investigator (Pl).

• Maintain and educate staff on medication delivery systems (i.e. infusion pumps) as necessary.

• Prepare medication accountability documents a required by protocol.

• Participate as appropriate, in client visits and communicate with sponsor representatives.

• Undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

To be successful in the role, you will :

  • Have a degree ideally in sciences
  • Be a trained pharmacist, in clinical pharmacy,
  • Have previous experience as manager, (not a must), QP or radiation office
  • Speak fluent Dutch and English
