Position Summary:

The Production Process & Analytics Business Unit (PPA) in the Chemical Analysis Division is seeking a passionate Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. The Sr. Financial Analyst will report directly to the Sr. Manager of FP&A and provide substantial impact in all key reporting elements of the business unit, partner with business and functional leaders to drive overall improvement within the financial health of the business unit, as well as leading multiple automation and Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct support to leading core operating mechanisms, including MBR/QBR, Forecasts, AOP and STRAP, in collaboration with the segment teams and division counterparts.
  • Manage all system-related deliverables, including consolidation from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Provide finance partnership to Business Unit functional leadership, including R&D, Marketing and HR, ensuring consistent review and analysis of key financial metrics.
  • Develop FP&A calendars with key delivery due dates and review meetings, and drive adherence to timelines.
  • Identify, develop, and implement improvements to existing reporting processes using the PPI business system. Promote innovation and automation .
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis as required by leadership for business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of direct experience in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting preferably within a large, matrixed organization
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments, exercise good judgement, and prioritize projects and time effectively
  • Commitment to continuous learning, career progression and development; embrace additional responsibilities and seek opportunities to stretch capabilities
  • Demonstrable proficiency in financial reporting systems, such as Hyperion or TM1, as well as Excel, with an emphasis on financial modelling
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a matrixed organization across multiple time-zones
