To strengthen our agile Life Science Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry team, we are looking for a motivated Software Test Automation Engineer. If you enjoy working with a multidisciplinary, multicultural, and worldwide team, this is your job.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute automation tests on various software platforms in support of Thermo Fisher Scientific's new product development.

  • Collaborate with development and validation teams to plan, perform, and document verification and validation activities.

  • Maintain and update test cases, test procedures and bug reports in databases, including filing and tracking.

  • Participate in all stages of software development, from product definition to final release.

Education/ Experience
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, related science, or equivalent education and work experience

  • 1+ years of experience with SW test automation

  • Knowledge of testing tools like Test Complete, Selenium or similar products is an advantage

  • Experience with testing software for commercial applications, preferably for instrument control software products is beneficial

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated individual able to work in multi-national multi-disciplinary team in supporting the development of high-performance mass spectrometric instrumentation and related technologies

  • Programming skills in a major programming language or scripting language would be preferred

  • Proficient in English

  • Ability to travel up to 20% globally
