Strategic Account Director

Description

The Strategic Account Director will assume a leadership role for the Engagement Center (EC) programs and work in close partnership with the EC leadership team and the client where they will guide the delivery of effective services & strategic solutions. They apply extensive and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare marketplace to guide patient services program strategy, implementation, and daily operations by providing subject matter expertise. They will regularly provide support to the Program Director, Senior Leadership, and Client to effectively maintain program operations and goals. They present new ideas and innovations to clients, enhancing their product, and are the liaison between the Client and all key stakeholders.

There will be an expectation to provide input into key decisions as the project grows, being responsible not only for the delivery of existing business but also for contributing to the growth and development of the business and the internal team for long-term success. Key activities include performance or oversight of day-to-day project administrative tasks, coordination and oversight of interdepartmental operational efforts to support the project, and communication of reports. 

You will:

  • Lead support to program management to improve quality and ensure teams meet client program strategic priorities, goals, and metrics
  • Foster connections between internal subject matter experts, and client services while adhering to all processes, tools, and technology for those departments that directly support the assigned project(s).
  • Work with the Program Director to solve complex support issues effectively.
  • Form strategic partnerships with clients by developing a working knowledge of their business goals, technical challenges, and infrastructure configurations to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
  • Lead effective execution and delivery of strategic operations.
  • Provide effective independent management of all client relationships on assigned accounts (adapting to client style, SOPs, and needs as required).
  • Assist project business lead in preparing formal presentations to include collating data.  

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum 
  • 5+ years of healthcare industry experience, Pharmaceutical preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience working in a client-facing account management role 
  • 5+ years of contact center experience across patient inbound teams.
  • 5+ years of direct management oversight of account management team.
  • Experience supporting patient services programs in commercial strategy or analytics role
  • Knowledge of how to deploy technology to improve efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills 
  • Thorough understanding of business operations and processes required in a call center environment.
