Job Purpose:

The Global Head, TA will provide oversight and leadership to the talent acquisition team, including ensuring operational effectiveness, service delivery and reviewing business processes. The role will involve significant relationship building within the business at senior and executive level. She/he will develop the team’s ability to excel as talent advisors and ensure the organisation’s employer brand awareness and reputation is at the highest level within the target audience.

Key Accountabilities

• Creates talent acquisition strategies for the organisation and amends those for the needs of individual SBUs, audiences and markets

• Manages and mentors an international team of talent advisors including performance reviews, development and hiring new members of team

• Hands on recruitment

• Negotiates external vendor agreements.

• Supports senior and executive management in creating innovative and effective recruitment and attraction tools

• Supports the New Hire Orientation of new employees

• Acts as an internal thought leader and ambassador for talent acquisition

• Develop strong relationships with HR business partners and HR operations to ensure recruitment needs are accomplished

• Deploys the global EVP strategy regionally and locally while circling back regional and local demands

• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of best practice talent acquisition and HR trends

• Keeps up to date with developments within the industry to identify opportunities to ensure we hire the best possible talent available on the market

• Manages and tracks performance across a series of measures and dashboards

• Actively tracks customer service issues and implements an improvement strategy as needed

Job Qualifications

• IT literate and familiar with TA systems

• Team player and leader with good interpersonal, negotiation skills and organizational skills

• Able to take initiative and work independently

• Sound judgment and sense of urgency and ability to deal with ambiguity

Minimum Work Experience

• 15 years + HR and recruitment experience.

• Experience of working in a complex international company

• Work experience in a regional set-up

• Experience of working/living in a foreign country is a plus

QualificationsEducation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent discipline

• A professional qualification/certification in Human Resources is a plus
