Location / Division Specific Information

The Clinical Trials Division (CTD) within the Pharma Services Group (PSG) partners with pharmaceutical and biotech customers around the world to ensure the right patients get the right therapies in the right doses at the right time – a concept that we internally adopt as “There is a Patient Waiting.” Our outstanding blend of services includes project management, packaging, distribution, transportation management and specialty logistics, ancillary supply management, clinical supply optimization, bio-repository storage and much more. How will you make an impact?

This role sustains the maintenance, compliance and security of the facilities and equipment and assists in preserving the cleanliness and safety of the facility. The position will occasionally be asked to provide on-call support as part of a team rotation

What will you do?

  • Performs daily inspection and readings of critical equipment.
  • Maintains facility cleanliness and repairs as needed to preserve safety.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Repairs Formulation and Process Development (FPD) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) equipment as needed
  • Schedules, coordinates, and escorts contractors and service vendors as required.
  • Perform tasks as requested with the ability to work independently.
  • Responds to facility and equipment alarms per corresponding standard operating procedures. (SOP’s)
  • Owns and supports others regarding Quality requirements to ensure adherence to SOPs.
  • Actively participates in the quality observations/suggestions program.
  • Contributes to revisions and Quality Management System improvements.
  • Identify potential Deviation issues and process gaps.
  • Authors and revises Work Order and Change Controls
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by personnel and management.
  • Promotes PPI Business System
  • Effective Time management; demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and pace
  • Capability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility to step up to meet operational/facility needs.

How will you get here?

  • High School diploma or GED required

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years general MEP experience supporting facilities operations
  • Experience with Windows based PCs
  • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting HVAC systems
  • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting high speed automation and conveyance
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Must be able to move up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to work well with in a team-based environment with limited supervision, and be available to work weekend and holidays as required
  • Must be able to lead projects with limited oversight.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
