The successful candidate will play an integral role to educate emergency medicine, surgery, toxicology, poison control, and hospital pharmacy healthcare professionals on Anavip®.   The Hospital Account Specialist will also passionately educate pediatric oncology health care professionals on Purixan®.  For this opportunity we are searching for a unique combination of entrepreneurial spirit, a passion to exceed all expectations and an overriding curiosity to explore and continually learn about venomous reptiles and arachnids.  This is a rare opportunity with IQVIA™ and America’s first exclusively orphan drug company to promote its current portfolio and future pipeline. 

Hospital Account Specialist


The Hospital Account Specialist is primarily responsible for achieving sales forecast by gaining formulary access of promoted products in combination with HCP product training within an assigned multi-state territory.  This is accomplished by establishing mutually beneficial, long-term business relationships with those healthcare providers that are dedicated to treating patients that have been envenomated or diagnosed with ALL.   If you thrive in a true account management environment, this opportunity is for you!  

Qualifications/Experience

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college/university required
  • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience required
  • Minimum 3 years hospital sales experience required
  • Experience selling to Emergency Department preferred
  • Experience selling to Oncology HCPs preferred
  • Successful experience adding products to hospital formularies preferred
  • Demonstrated success in prior roles with tenure
  • Ability to travel as needed (IN, MI, OH, PA, WV) – Columbus OH preferred.
