Description

Can you reach people with just a few words?
In this role, you will edit, proofread, format, and assist in fact checking a variety of medical education, medical communications, and publication materials, including Power Point slides, websites, and printed materials. Meet all deadlines and keep studio staff in the loop regarding outstanding and completed projects You will:
  • Ensure correct grammar, spelling, and usage, as well as adherence to AMA, agency, and client styles
  • Verify brand-specific style is consistent throughout jobs
  • Checks to make sure references are listed and ordered correctly
Essential Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in science/medical field or journalism/English
  • 2+ years’ of copy editing and/or content editing
  • Excellent proofreading skills
Desired Requirements:
  • Pharma agency experience/understanding of medical terminology
  • Knowledge/familiarity with AMA style
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-oriented environment
The anticipated hourly rate for the position is $40 - $50/hr but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
