Job Description

• Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.• As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.• Manage the monthly & quarterly reporting close process to strict deadlines ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the information reported• Manage all stock exchange reporting obligations (both NASDAQ/SEC) to strict deadlines ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the information reported• Act as a key liaison with external auditors to ensure timely sign off of technical accounting matters• Co-ordinate with the Financial Reporting team during the statutory reporting process for all legal entities ensuring compliance with all regulatory and taxation requirements• Provide accounting and regulatory guidance (both US GAAP & IFRS) to internal customers and stakeholders on key accounting issues impacting the business• Be accountable for complex accounting issues resolution process, including identifying, tracking, researching, analyzing and documenting technical accounting and presentation matters• Develop presentation materials for Audit Committee meetings• Develop & monitor key business and performance indicators in conjunction with Senior Management• Monitor, analyze and communicate status of emerging accounting guidance and its potential impact on the company• Foster close working relationship with business units and corporate functions to help in identifying accounting issues from new transactions or other activities• Oversee accounting and disclosure knowledge management to relevant Finance staff• Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders to develop & continually improve processes& systems for both financial and statutory reporting• To perform this job successfully , an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
