Clinical Catering Assistant

Provision of all scheduled food/ drink requirements to volunteers within specific time points set by the protocol. To use data capture systems such as Clinbase to log volunteer meals times. To assist in the conduct of Phase 1 studies in accordance with ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP). To clean the kitchens, meeting rooms/ monitor rooms according to daily requirements. To handle and operate the dishwasher, the heated catering trolley ovens, the kitchen ovens and other machinery as and when required with health and safety in mind To maintain kitchen stock/ report any low stock levels to the Catering and Logistics Coordinator. To ensure all equipment quality checks are completed daily and documented accordingly. To perform all volunteer entertainment and/or logistics duties as and when required. Prepare and serve food for volunteers in accordance with the protocol guidelines at the correct serving time, with the correct food portion sizes/food weights. Prepare food for business/ staff meetings. Record the temperature of all hot food to be served to volunteers and ensure the food is safe for consumption and has been cooked thoroughly. Maintain a clean environment of the Catering kitchen/ staff kitchen/ other delegated areas on a continuous basis and to perform a deep clean at the end of each day in the catering kitchen. Supervise volunteers at meal times, assist volunteers with catering requirements. Other duties as required. QualificationsExcellent communication skills. Strong command of the English language. Experience of working in a team environment. Literate in Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point.
