Job Purpose

The Production Planner drives and assists in the development of project plans and timelines for all projects requiring packaging and labeling in a Parexel depot, including Clinical Trial Material and Lab Kits. They monitor for conflict, note items on critical path and adherence to timelines; coordinating resolution and escalating as required.

The Production Planner works closely with Heads of Production, Heads of Quality Control, Qualified Persons, Production Services (Batch Documentation and Secondary Packaging Development), PM&D, eLogistics and Management

Key Accountabilities Maintain strong focus on external and internal client satisfaction Represent Production Services at internal project meetings, Support the teams on a global basis in labeling and packaging, introduce our services and the business unit on the global level Provide training and mentoring in Pre-Production supply chain to stakeholders Contribute to the development of individual project plans and timelines Maintain an overview of all timelines, identifying items on critical path, conflict and driving resolution Provide support for set-up/development of project specific logistics strategy Work with Depot staff and Production Services team to obtain images & dimensions of clinical trial materials to optimize finished good design Contribute to development and writing of applicable SOPs, worksheets and procedures Implement process improvements, in conjunction with the team, in response to corporate, quality, client and team feedback and quality audits Support ongoing optimization of system infrastructure address areas of cost of non-quality (“CONQ”) QualificationsSkills

• Result-oriented, confident, self-motivated

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

• A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning

• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail

• Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork.

Knowledge and Experience

• Solid understanding of project management process

• Knowledge of Supply Chain and Distribution Management

• Understanding of Root Cause Analysis

• Fluent in English

• Minimum of 2 years in similar roles in a manufacturing or clinical trial packaging environment

Education

• Vocational or Bachelor degree or equivalent in supporting subject.

• Or relevant work experience
