Formed through the merger of IMS Health and Quintiles, IQVIA offers a broad range of solutions that harness the power of healthcare data, domain expertise, transformative technology, and advanced analytics to drive healthcare forward.

The Analytics Center of Excellence (ACOE)

The Analytics Center of Excellence (ACOE) in IQVIA connects big data in healthcare, new technologies, advanced methodologies, and scientific expertise to transform research for our clients. For example, the ACOE currently applies healthcare data to studies to:

Analytics Insight Manager, Real World Evidence (RWE) Studies

The Analytics Insight Manager (AIM) for RWE studies is an internal consultant who works with the teams bidding for and executing RWE studies. The AIM develops data insights that accelerate the delivery and strengthen the impact of RWE studies. By enabling better research and faster results, the AIM is making a meaningful different in healthcare across many countries and therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with internal teams to understand relevant challenges within a study and to identify analytics that can help meet these challenges
  • Works with country-specific analysts and global feasibility leads who will generate the data insights
  • Synthesizes data insights to provide a data-driven recommendation on key study parameters such as enrollment rates and use of data in site ID
  • Serves as single point of contact on study to answer data-related questions
  • Communicates results to internal teams and to external clients, demonstrating a deep knowledge of both data sources and study goals
  • Consulting with a study team to create a project scope for how the ACOE will provide information that supports the team’s goals.
  • Coordinating input from country-level analysts and global feasibility in line with the project scope. This involves critically reviewing results and, in some cases, working with the global analytics team on multiple iterations of output to ensure results meet the project objective.
  • Presenting results, and answering questions as expert on these results, to internal teams.
  • Attending bid defense meetings and other client engagements to discuss analytical insights. Most client meetings would be by phone but there may be occasional travel.
  • Creating innovation in how we deliver studies through the use of real-world data.
  • Educating and mentoring the study team and other stakeholders on our differentiating solutions.
  • Working with internal teams to continuously improve our processes.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant analytics experience such as data profiling, predictive modeling, or creating projections from incomplete data.
  • A Bachelor's degree and 3-7 years (depending on hiring level) relevant experience in analytics, consulting, study delivery, study feasibility, and/or project management. An advanced degree related to data science or health care may substitute for years’ experience.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical trials and studies, ideally with experience in non-interventional studies.
  • Multi-country/cultural experience.
  • Proven relationship-building skills, and an active listener.
  • Some flexibility to support early or late calls and to support occasional client-facing business travel (< 10%).
