ETMS-PTSD-001ステージ2は、99人の完了者を持つ100人の被験者の募集目標を備えた無作為化された偽の対照研究です。 この研究は、対象集団におけるETMの安全性と有効性を評価することを目的としています。 採用目標を達成するために、最大800人の個人がスクリーニングされます。 登録された最初の参加者から最後の登録された参加者に扱われた扱いを受けた日数は、約10か月です。
参加者は、22〜65歳の間、退役軍人または最初の対応者(救急医療サービスプロバイダー、消防士、またはその他の緊急対応担当者)のいずれかです。 参加者は、適格性基準を満たす人種/民族の背景の男性または女性である場合があります。 参加者は、一般の人々から、また退役軍人や最初のレスポンダー組織から採用されます。
この研究の主な結果は、DSM-5(PCL-5)評価のPTSDチェックリストによって計算されるPTSD症状の減少です。

- 臨床医が管理するPTSDスケール(CAPS)を介したDSM-5基準に従ってPTSDの診断。
- スクリーニング訪問の前に最低6か月前に持続するPTSD症状のDSM-5基準を満たす症状の発症
- 退役軍人局PCL-5 31以上のカットポイントスコア
- ベテラン、または最初の応答者のいずれかとしての肯定的な識別(救急医療サービスプロバイダー、消防士、またはその他の緊急対応担当者)
除外基準:
- 制御されていない医学的、心理的または神経学的状態
- 妊娠中、または試験中に効果的な避妊を使用したくない女性
- 頭の中の金属物体
- 金属フラグメント、永久ピアス、および/または頭頸部にある他の可能な金属源への過去の曝露

各セッションは、80%のモーターしきい値、8〜13 Hzのパルス周波数でのTMS処理で構成されています。
5秒のパルストレインのTMS配信。20秒のトレイン間隔。
セッション期間は15分です。
治療日の2つのセッションの間に、少なくとも30分以上の休息期間が必要です。

心的外傷後ストレス障害(PTSD)診断および精神障害の統計マニュアルのチェックリスト、第5版。 (DSM-5)は、一般にPCL-5と呼ばれ、PTSDの20 DSM-5症状を評価する20項目の自己報告尺度です。
治療中および治療後の症状の変化を監視するために使用されます。
各項目は、症状の重症度の推定として0から5にスコアリングされます(0 =まったく、1 =少し、2 =適度に、3 =かなり、4 =極端に)。
最終スコア範囲は0〜80です。
低いスコアは、より高いスコアよりも優れていると見なされます。
