이 무작위 대조 시험의 목표는 디지털 건강 앱 Five Lives MED가 경도 인지 장애(MCI)가 있는 사람들의 인지 기능을 향상시킬 수 있는지 확인하는 것입니다. 대답하려는 주요 질문은 다음과 같습니다.
Five Lives MED를 12주 동안 사용하면 MCI 진단을 받은 사람들의 전반적인 인지 기능이 향상될 수 있습니까?
연구자들은 표준 건강 정보가 담긴 전단지를 받은 대조군과 비교할 것입니다.
중재 그룹의 참가자는 12주 동안 집에서 일주일에 3번 Five Lives MED 앱을 사용하도록 요청받게 됩니다.
두 그룹의 모든 참가자는 인지 테스트를 받고 기준선에서 설문지를 작성하고 종료합니다.

경도 인지 장애는 중요한 공중 보건 문제입니다. 비약리학적 개입, 특히 다중 영역 생활 방식 및 컴퓨터화된 인지 훈련 개입은 인지 기능을 향상시키기 위한 접근 가능하고 확장 가능하며 매력적이며 잠재적으로 효과적인 솔루션을 제공합니다.
Five Lives MED는 신체 활동 습관 형성 코칭 프로그램과 인지 훈련 운동으로 구성된 중재형 디지털 건강 앱입니다.
이 연구의 목적은 Five Lives MED 장치의 효능을 평가하는 것입니다. 일차 가설은 12주간의 Five Lives MED 개입 후 중재 그룹과 대조군 사이에 MoCA 점수에 유의미한 차이가 있으며, 효과 크기 d = 0.50 이상이 개입 그룹에 유리하다는 것입니다.
이는 경도 인지 장애가 있는 50세 이상의 참가자를 대상으로 한 다기관, 무작위, 단일 맹검, 대조 연구입니다. 참가자는 1:1 할당 비율로 12주 동안 개입(Five Lives MED) 또는 대조군에 무작위로 할당됩니다.

실험적: 파이브 라이브 MED
참가자는 Five Lives MED 앱을 사용하여 건강한 습관 형성 구성 요소와 인지 훈련을 포함하여 매일 최대 30분 세션을 제공받게 됩니다. 하루에 최대 1개의 세션을 완료할 수 있으며, 주당 최소 3개의 세션을 완료하도록 권장됩니다. 참가자는 원하는 경우 더 많은 세션을 완료할 수 있습니다. 각 세션 후에는 인지 훈련 게임과 교육 기사에 자유롭게 접근할 수 있습니다. |
Five Lives MED는 Android 및/또는 iOS 운영 체제를 사용하는 스마트폰 및 태블릿에 설치하여 가정에서 사용할 수 있는 모바일 애플리케이션입니다. 이 앱은 하루에 한 번 완료할 수 있는 체계적인 세션을 제공합니다. 세션이 완료되면 앱은 추가 인지 훈련 연습 및 교육 기사에 대한 선택적 액세스도 제공합니다. 개입 세션은 채팅 봇을 통해 제공되는 신체 활동 습관 구축 도구인 Habit Quest로 시작됩니다. 습관 탐구에 이어 참가자는 주의력, 기억력, 언어 및 실행 기능 향상을 목표로 하는 일련의 게임화된 인지 훈련 연습을 통해 안내됩니다. |

몬트리올 인지 평가(MoCA)의 정식 버전인 펜과 종이는 경도 인지 장애(MCI)와 치매의 초기 징후를 감지하기 위해 고안된 널리 사용되는 검사 도구입니다.
단기 기억, 시공간 능력, 실행 기능, 주의력, 집중력, 작업 기억, 언어 및 시간과 장소에 대한 방향성을 포함한 여러 인지 영역을 평가합니다.
MoCA는 30점 만점으로 26점 이상이면 정상으로 간주됩니다.
점수가 낮을수록 잠재적인 인지 장애를 나타내며 심각도를 측정하는 데 종종 사용되는 특정 범위가 있습니다. 18~25점은 경도 인지 장애, 10~17점은 중등도 인지 장애, 10점 미만은 심각한 인지 장애입니다.
