Job Summary

We are seeking a Human Resources Director, covering both our Safety Assessment and Discovery businesses in Hungary

The HR Director Hungary will partner with leadership teams of Hungary, to provide consultative HR support and counsel, align business needs to drive the human relationship’s strategy of the corporate CRL HR Department and support the site business objectives. The position operates in a matrixed environment supporting the business and works with other regional HR Business Partners/HR Directors to support leaders in the development and implementation of most or all company-wide HR initiatives. 

The main strategic focus of this position is on the development and management of HR areas like recruitment, development and coaching of the local HR team, managers, execution of total reward plans, driving deployment of resources in support of business needs, as well as daily interactions/employee relations.  All duties are performed in accordance with local & international guidelines. 

The successful candidate does have a proven track record in providing proactive human resources leadership. An HR Professional that has prior experience working with commercial teams in a matrix organization and who makes things happen.

Responsibilities:

•    Engage Country Managers and HR local professionals in order to understand the key resource issues and associated demands to meet both present and future challenges. •    Support the business by providing feasible, cost-effective recruitment solutions using a range of techniques and following global initiatives, processes. •    Identify training & development gaps, implementing talent management and succession planning solutions in the frame of CRL guidance to mirror performance and upgrade peoples’ capabilities. •    Detect employees ready for promotion.  •    Challenge the affiliate’s organizational structure and propose changes as to maintain organization for reaching better performance and serve the business grows. •    Lead the deployment of cross functional or global projects within agreed timescale and budgets to support the delivery of the global HR goals. •    Provide data, information or any requested document to support global L&D and C&B departments concerning trends and changes in Hungary (salary, legal matters). •    Deal with complex or sensitive day to day people management subjects, working at an operational level with multiple stakeholders. •    Oversee the implementation and delivery of HR policies, write policies / modifications in case of necessity. •    Ensure compliance and alignment with Corporate strategies, partnering with Corporate HR, Business Units and Corporate Support Function teams (Finance, Supply, Communication, Sales, etc.).

Job Qualifications

•    Masters degree in Human Resources or related discipline. •    A minimum of 10 years relevant, progressive experience in the HR Field •    Experience in a global, matrixed organization. •    Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successfully on strategic initiatives as well as tactical tasks that drive high performance in a multi-generational, globally diverse employee population where flexibility and adaptability are crucial. •    Demonstrated organizational design experience. •    Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with people from diverse demographic and cultural backgrounds. •    Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects from conception to completion and understanding business with a P&L orientation. •    Ability to work with all levels in an organization and work across teams, departments, businesses, and cultures. •    Fluent in Hungarian and English •    Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office •    Good knowledge of P&L and KPI’s management, results projections, and annual budget.

The pay for this position starts at HUF 17.000.000 to HUF 27.500.000 annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
