Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Product Support Engineer-Electronic to support product manufacturing for scientific instruments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • This position takes the responsibility of developing and optimizing manufacturing and test processes proactively and initiatively; resolving quality issues in a systematical way to ensure the on time delivery of high quality standard product; To driving continuous improvement in the areas of production productivity, manufacturing cost through PPI. To engage in new product transfer by taking operation PE leading role in NPI projects. 

    Key Responsibilities: (Bullets)

  • Responsible for technical knowledge transfer through correct BOM set up, working instruction development, and facilitate training for operation skill qualification.
  • Developing the assembly/testing fixtures and provide the technical support of maintaining the fixtures
  • Provide technical support to all product related issue to stabilize process and improve first pass yield (FPY), including customer quality issues, production line trouble shooting
  • Responsible for Engineering Change validation and implementation
  • Work together with the souring, quality, procurement team to drive on time delivery and cost reduction. Evaluate the localized/defect electronics parts and support the vendor on trouble shooting and solve the problems
  • Provide the training to production line operators to ensure the operators understand the product and manufacture the products in an effective and correct way.
  • Leading continuous improvement project on products, assembly/test processes to improve the efficiency and cost of manufacturing
  • Requirements/Qualifications: (Bullets)

  • Bachelor or above Degree in electronical or relevant engineering majors.
  • Manufacturing Engineer or Process and Equipment engineer job experience (>=6 years), Lean manufacturing experience is plus.
  • Strong debug and troubleshooting experience in electronical component/PCBA level would be a plus
  • Practical experience of introducing new products in manufacturing.
  • Multi-national factory working experience (>= 3 years), plus instrument field preferring.
  • English skill is fluent in both oral and written, plus certification preferring.
  • Self-motivated individual, possessed a mature and responsible nature.
