Your Role:

In the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System, you'll work across all levels to foster continuous improvements, enhancing growth, quality, and the experiences of customers and employees. This role involves:

  • Coaching teams in Lean Management Systems (daily management, gemba walks, standard work) and other tools for cultural transformation.

  • Supporting the PPI Business System with project tracking, pipeline building, and productivity reporting.

  • Identifying improvement/growth areas and aiding teams in implementing these opportunities.

  • Collaborating with Finance to assess project savings, validate PPI benefits, and ensure precise PPI Productivity accounting.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, operations, or business.

  • Green Belt certification (preferred).

Experience:

  • Demonstrated continuous improvement commitment through Operational Excellence.

  • Leadership reflecting our core values and customer dedication.

  • Identifying and implementing new improvement opportunities.

  • At least 2 years of strong Lean practice with a proven track record in team leadership and achieving results.

  • Preferred experience in value stream mapping, visual management/5S, Kanban, standard work, metric boards, gemba, stand-up meetings, and project funnel development.

  • Proficiency in problem-solving with a formal approach.

  • Managing cross-functional projects or changes.

  • Leading continuous improvement activities using lean, six sigma, and other methodologies.

  • Collaborating with Finance, Quality, Safety, and Project sponsors for project impact.

  • Implementing operational excellence plans aligned with site, business unit, and company strategies.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills for positive influence at all organization levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

  • A catalyst for continuous improvement in operational and non-operational areas.

  • Self-motivated and independent.
