How Will You Make an Impact?

This role will assist and support the leader of General Manager/VP of the Measurement Control & Sample Identification Business Unit in the Chemical Analysis Division. It will partner with the leader; the subdivision GMs and the MCS leadership team.  The role will provide strategic direction and execution excellence in areas such as change management, organizational assessment & structure, workforce planning, and capability development while building an environment centered on inclusion and high performance.

The HR Director will be responsible for the following:

  • Change leader who challenges status quo and seeks to optimize organizational effectiveness, development, and culture initiatives built upon our 4i values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement)
  • Partner with leaders to build capability in navigating sophisticated leadership and HR matters in aims to achieve a culture of dedication
  • Collaborate closely with Talent CoEs to leverage STRAP and Commercial objectives in developing forward-looking HR strategy and talent management plans to attract, retain, develop, and engage diverse talent. Lead critical talent and future-capability planning activities to ensure business is well prepared for growth amid a highly driven talent market
  • Leverage HR analytics and dashboards to encourage the continuous improvement of talent and business capabilities, KPIs, and to influence and measure meaningful change. Build a robust understanding of industry, market, and functional trends, crafting business-specific talent strategies driven by data insights and strategic planning
  • Alignment and effective delivery of key HR & Talent Processes including Human Resources Review (HRR), Performance Management and Development (PMD), Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Calibration, Total Compensation Planning (TCP), and Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) across the global Sales, Services, and Shared Marketing organizations
  • Establish and maintain a strong global network across the HR organization to stay abreast of changes in HR law and emerging global and regional talent issues which have the potential to impact the business, sharing knowledge with business and HR teams
  • Active engagement as a member of the CAD HRLT; providing leadership and owning initiatives on broader divisional and group initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned.

How You Will Get Here:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR and other professional certification is desirable.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of comprehensive HR experience in a global environment; prior experience as a business partner supporting senior leaders
  • Proven experience in large-scale, organizational transformations e.g., full scope global organization restructures, acquisitions
  • Proven success in influencing and directly implementing global business and change programs and processes that achieved and maintained positive results
  • Experience building and leading teams in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed, and diverse environment
  • Proficient in Process Improvement approaches (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, Practical Process Improvement, etc.).
  • Proven record of developing talent strategies that address future-focused capability gaps and build a bench of diverse talent
  • Proven knowledge of modern practices in the administration of HR policies, including (but not limited to): salary administration and performance review processes, performance management, proactive employee relations, issue investigation and resolution, and competitive recruiting
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, Workday, PowerBI
  • Ability to travel approximately 35% domestic and international.
