We are looking for a Cagewash Technician II to join our Insourcing Solutions team, located in Washington, DC.

What impact you will have! In the Cagewash Technician II role, you will clean, sanitize, maintain, and repair all animal caging materials and cagewash facilities/equipment as required.
You will also perform the following duties:
- Oversee daily work assignments of cagewash staff, ensure completion.
- Provide mentorship, re-training, new hire training, and group training to staff.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on cagewash and autoclaves, including inspection of cleaning filters and roto-arms.
- Conduct trouble shooting on equipment and report problems; communicate problems with the manufacturer when necessary.
- Ensure cagewash and animal holding facilities are kept in a clean and organized manner.
- Assist with the receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supply inventories.
- Prepare and submit required written records, charts, logs, and inventories.
- Actively interact with customers to resolve requests, inquiries, and complaints, and to provide technical assistance.
Who are we looking for?
A candidate with a high school diploma or general education degree is required, along with a minimum of 9 months successful performance in cagewash facility operations.
The pay range for this position is $20 - $22 per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
