RWE Business Operations Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Real World Evidence group. We are recruiting for a Real World Evidence Manager to focus on Business Operations. This role can be home or office based in one of our EU/UK locations.

The Real World Evidence Manager will be responsible for developing and tracking business results, such as new business, revenue, resource utilization and other KPIs related to the status of the RWE team business.  The role will support the management of all business operations and work across functions within Parexel.  The suitable candidate will be required to identify challenges affecting team operations, develop and propose solutions, and lead initiatives that require input and negotiation from all levels of the organisation. 

Key Accountabilities:

Excellent communication and analytic abilities, with an understanding of business finances and operations

Support the management of the business through development and oversight of new business and financial systems

Work with RWE leadership to ensure the RWE business operates smoothly and efficiently, maintaining a KPI reporting dashboard

Build processes that meet our business objectives and ensure compliance

Monitor and maintain new business and project financial data

Support the reporting needs for hiring and resource planning  

Take into account the needs of external and internal stakeholders and incorporate them into new strategic plans

Maintain a positive, results-oriented work environment while building partnerships through teamwork and communicating in an open, balanced, and objective manner

Knowledge and Experience:

5+ years working in the pharmaceutical industry or a pharmaceutical services environment with an understanding of clinical-research operations

Proven operational experience supporting business operations

General business management experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in general and the CRO industry in particular

Education:

Advanced degree in life sciences or business equivalent (e.g. MBA, MHA, MPH, MS, PhD) preferred
