We are looking to hire a highly motivated individual who can contribute to the team towards making great microarray products for our customers. 

What will you do? 

You will be part of the Engineering Leadership Team and manages a team of Process and Equipment engineers to achieve the organization's operational goals in microarray manufacturing.

Responsibilities and Authorities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the team's success and professional growth.

  • Accountable for engineering operation risks and recommend solutions to Site Leadership Team.

  • Attend to the day-to-day activities associated with microarray engineering operation

  • Handling dynamics of the matrix and constant business changes to ensure alignment of priorities, scope, and resources to meet site objective.

  • Lead investigation to resolve complex issues, solve problems, and minimizes impact to business operation.

  • Identify viable methods on early detection, resolution, or elimination of the issue in engineering operation that impact quality performance.

  • Drive continuous improvement to increase productivity and implement changes accordingly.

  • Continuously evaluate new ideas and optimize / improve tool capabilities to attain benchmark performance.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality, to be the advocate of continuous improvement.

  • Understand current business model, identify gaps, areas of opportunity, to enable business growth, scalability through standardization and automation, effectiveness and efficiency.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Degree in Science or Engineering field is preferred.

  • Familiar with regulation and industry standard.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of operations management experience, supervising a team in a fast-paced environment of moderate complexity.

  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing

  • Effective leadership characterized by results focus, strong planning, execution abilities, drive, courage, resilience, and a hands-on approach.

  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.

  • Flexible and resilient, adaptable to a high-change environment and open to new concepts and / or processes.

  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO standards.
