Senior Software Engineer - C#

Job Description

Software engineering is an integral part of our R&D department, working closely with colleagues outside the software domain, such as system design engineers, physicists, application specialists, and electronics engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. We develop applications on various layers of the software stack – from low-level controller communication, through implementing instrument behavior and providing quality API, to user-facing applications for control and automation.

We are looking for an experienced C++ developer willing to work on critical software modules in the world's most powerful electron microscopes. Become a member of our team and help us create innovative products serving science and industry!

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of a specific software module
• Design and implementation of product features in C++ based on requirements
• Testing your code both in an automated fashion and on the microscope
• Working on complex technical problems and providing sophisticated solutions
• Collaborating with a team of skilled engineers in Brno, Netherlands and USA

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of C++
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of software development processes and tools
• This position typically requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or another relevant domain
• Sound interpersonal skills and active knowledge of English
• Eligible for passport and ability to travel
