Working as part of our Microbiology Division (MBD), within the Specialty Diagnostics Group, you’ll play an active part in helping us to achieve our mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. The Microbiology Division discovers microbiological solutions for the diagnosis of infectious disease and detection of bacterial contamination. We serve public health, clinical laboratories, food companies, environmental screening and pharmaceutical laboratories with a portfolio of products that include culture media, antimicrobial susceptibility testing solutions and market-leading molecular solutions for food safety testing.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Master Data & Reporting Analyst to be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of master data, generating reports and analyses to support business operations, and implementing data management strategies. This role will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, identify key risks and data gaps, and recommend process improvements. In addition, this role will also support our supply chain reporting, assisting in both the maintenance of existing reporting and development of new reporting tools. The ideal candidate would have experience in data management and reporting, proficiency in tools like Power BI and SQL, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive towards providing the Microbiology Division with a trusted single version of accurate data to facilitate the best decisions end users can make for the future of the business
  • Maintain master data relating to both procured and manufactured products
  • Monitor SAP to ensure data integrity
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Power BI business reporting, ensuring continuity of data availability to support business decision making
  • Collaborate across business functions to find opportunities for data and process integration; evaluate and make recommendations regarding proposed design modifications
  • Establish key business relationships to continuously review and refine data requirements needed to meet organisational objectives
