The Role:

Our site in Harrogate, is currently recruiting for a Sample & Materials Coordinator to join the Biopharmaceutical Chemistry Manufacturing Controls (BiopharmCMC) division.

The Sample Materials Coordinator role will be based both in the lab and in the office and is an excellent opportunity to develop and gain industry standard Laboratory based skills.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Receiving materials and samples for the department and updating the LIMS (Laboratory Management Information System).

  • Maintaining lab stock levels.

  • Booking scientific samples into studies for analytical testing for the CMC department.

  • Stock counting and placing orders to replenish stock.

  • Aliquoting and preparing samples for testing.

  • Supporting sample and materials management and the wider CMC scientific team to ensure samples are tested in the allocated time frame.

  • Administrative duties.

About You:

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE Level or equivalent and display good I.T. skills in an appropriate scientific subject. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, time management and organisational skills in an environment that requires you to be flexible and meet specific timelines.
