Mental Health Nurse Educator

• Three days per week (0.6 FTE/22.8 hrs a week)

We are currently seeking a proactive and highly motivated Registered Nurse, with a positive attitude and commercial acumen to join a national team of Mental Health Nurse Advisors.

This role will be a 12 month contract starting ASAP.

In this exciting and diverse role you will:

• Educate healthcare professionals (disease management, pharmaceutical products and administration of products)

• Provide in-service at clinics 

• Support, educate and liaise with patients 

• Support and mentor clinic staff

• Establish and maintain relationships with HCP's

• Support and educate clinics in best practice protocols

To be considered for this position you:

• Are a Registered Nurse with current registration

• Minimum of 5 years experience in patient management

• Ability to establish meaningful relationships with HCP's and patients

• Demonstrated high level of organisational skills

• Enjoy working autonomously have the flexibility to travel within QLD

• Very good computer skills

• Education/Training experience is an advantage

• Past Mental Health Nursing experience in public and acute and community mental health services strongly preferred, along with clinical nurse educator experience being favourable
