Our company seeks a Label Control Technician I who is able to work in a small group setting. Person needs to have attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and must demonstrate analytical skill. Prefer a minimum of intermediate computer skills ( data entry and Microsoft Office), some warehouse / production support experience.  Problem solving skills a plus.

A day in the Life:
  • Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
  • Needs to be attention orientated to detail.
  • Opens label deliveries for the day.
  • Helps Delivery Acknowledge deliveries into GPM and the Label Control Receiving board.
  • Receives and inspects in only FCS supplied labels, print mats and house labels.
  • Receives and inspects incoming labels by verifying 1 study and 1 sample to all paperwork associated to the part number, Item Specification, C of C, links report, Item Specification contact etc. to specifications.
  • Completes Distribution Orders with the help of a Label Control Tech III.
  • Completes cycle counting of label locations on a daily basis.
  • Stage jobs per sub steps according to the items, quantities and ranges specified on the Job Scheduling Queue while observing allocations specified in GPM with the help of a Label Control Tech III.
  • Responsible for manual and automated counting of labels/tamper seals with the help of a Label Control Tech III.
  • Locating labels to label locations after labels have been approved by QA.
  • Responsible for answering telephones, questions from other departments that pertain to label questions.
  • Update all staging reports on a daily basis.
  • Complete labeling of product in an ambient and refrigerated setting at Breinigsville facility with help from a Label Control Tech II or III.

Keys to Success:

Education
  • High School diploma with two years of experience in clinical packaging or equivalent combination and experience.

Experience
  • 1+ years experience in inventory managment
  • 1+ years experience in warehouse environment
  • Labeling experience
  • GMP Experience
  • Quality Assurance Experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Requires computer literacy with an understanding of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • Some of the duties require close scrutiny of label text and significant typing.
  • Some weekday, weekends and holidays overtime may be required upon business needs.
  • Mastery of skills required to read, understand, and adhere to the SOPs and policies of a GMP environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work in cold environment setting, up to 7 hours a day.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Position is responsible for inspection of pharmaceutical products, components and labels.  Incumbent must meet applicable visual acuity/color blindness standards to perform visual inspections in a cGMP environment
  • Standing, bending, reaching, walking, and talking.
  • Must have a valid driver's license to drive to both Fisher facilities each day.
  • Some weekdays, weekends and holidays overtime may be required upon business needs.
