We have a phenomenal opportunity for an ambitious part qualified Accountant who is looking build a career within Finance at ICON. We can offer support through your exams and also the opportunity to develop a career within Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team and introduce to working at a global organisation. The Corporate FP&A Function represents ICON’s Global Profit and Loss Account. The key to the financial success of ICON is the financial success of this group. As Financial Analyst, you will support the Corporate FP&A group by assisting in the following:

  • Preparation of materials for the Board, Senior Leadership Team and External Reporting.
  • Dissemination of financial information to the wider organization as well as adhering to external reporting for US compliance.
  • Supporting the rolling 12-month forecasts that have been submitted to Corporate FP&A on a monthly basis. • Review & interpret monthly results to help achieve quarterly budget targets.
  • Ensuring the financial systems (Hyperion and CXO) are updated accordingly and provide end user support.
  • Creating, tracking, and managing the financial systems user accounts and ensuring appropriate access and security levels are in place.
  • Support the preparation of ad-hoc management presentations and requests.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Partially Qualification for ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience ideally in finance or accounting
  • You will really enjoy working cross-functionally and collaborating with the broader group of Finance and Commercial Operation departments your business partners
  • Analytically minded seeks out problem-solving opportunities
  • Emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks at a time
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
