About the BiopharmCMC Bioassay Team

The Bioassay team specializes in the development of bespoke potency assays which are designed to determine the effectiveness of the drug molecule. Potency assays are a regulatory requirement to ensure the quality of every new manufactured drug throughout the entire lifetime of the drug.

Internship Assignment Summary

• You will learn how to run some potency assays in a GMP environment
• You will learn how to document and record data in a GMP environment
• You will conduct a R&D study that looks at automation of a potency assay
• You will gain experience presenting your research to the rest of the Bioassay team

Education/Qualifications/Skills

• You will have a BSc in a scientific discipline
• You will have experience working in a University laboratory
• You will be competent with Microsoft Office
• You will be a team player
