Job Summary

The Financial Systems and Data team is seeking a Data Analyst Intern for our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Team in a remote setting. An Internship Charles River Labs provides real world, hands-on experience for college students looking to gain knowledge and skills required for your career field of choice, while giving you an unparalleled internship experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Data Analyst will be utilized to document and validate data for our upcoming reporting and analytics workstream known as a Common Information Model. The analyst will be responsible to map data flowing through reports/systems and how they share that information in a wider data pool. Analyst will use several tools to complete function including Excel, Smartsheet, PowerBI and others. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to work on process improvements as well as analysis and planning activities. Documentation skills are important. Good communication skills are important. Attention to timelines is key. Work closely with the Portfolio Lead as well as Initiative/Project Managers of individual projects 

Job Qualifications

  • Student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s OR Master’s degree in related fields 
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 ⦁ Ability to fulfill an Intern position within the Jun - August timeframe
  • Effective communication and listening skills in a teamwork environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with a strong attention to detail 

⦁ Skills and/or Experience: Ability to plan at a detailed level ⦁ Critical thinking and analysis skills ⦁ Ability to multi-task effectively ⦁ Excellent organizational skills ⦁ Excellent verbal and written communication skills ⦁ Experience with MS Excel and other MS Office program 

Physical Demands

Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. ⦁ Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. ⦁ Regularly provides information to and receives information from/through various technologies, media, sources and contacts. Must be able to accurately exchange accurate information in these situations.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $25.00 Hr Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, and location.
