Our customers are world leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies and academic/hospital clinical centers which have chosen us as their partner. We supply our customers with key technologies and tools for use in cell therapy applications, especially within CAR-T therapy. Today these activities are supported by a committed and innovative R&D team with experienced scientists. To further strengthen our capabilities, we are seeking motivated and engaged R&D Scientist Product Development (Immunology/Cell biology/Molecular biology). What are you going to do?

  • Work in the field of cell therapy; developing tools and methods for use in manufacturing of cells used in clinical applications with a specific focus on NK-cells.
  • Preparation, expansion & characterization of T-cells, NK cells, stem cells and other primary cells.
  • Design and perform experimental laboratory work.
  • Develop immunoassays and bioassays in accordance with ICH guidelines.
  • Analyze data and present results to the team and in other internal/external settings.
  • Writing of protocols & reports.
  • Lead smaller research projects.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams.
  • Instrument responsibility (maintenance and contact person).

How do you get there?

  • PhD in Immunology/Cell Biology/Molecular Biology, or alternatively MSc with proven experience from working in relevant Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical industry or pre-clinical/clinical research hospital laboratories.
  • Strong scientific background in immunology and cell biology.
  • Desired technical skills:
    • T-cell and NK-cell culturing (primary cells and cell lines)
    • Multicolor flow staining and analysis with at least 5 colors
    • Protein analysis (WB, ELISA and other immunoassays)
    • Beads/microsphere for cell isolation and activation
  • Experience in leading scientific projects is an advantage.
  • Experience in assay development is wanted.
  • Organized and skilled at maintaining accurate laboratory records.
  • Familiarity with ISO13485 is preferred.
  • Structured and dedicated.
  • Motivated and capable of working on multiple research projects.
  • Ability to work well in a team or independently as required.
  • Enjoy working in a high pace environment with the ability to deliver to deadlines.
  • Excellent writing/communication/presentation skills in English. Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
