Discover Impactful work:In this position you provide important contributions in clinical biomarker research and development.A day in the life:

• You support interdisciplinary teams responsibly with your statistics expertise.
• You develop statistics strategies for the specific needs of our biomarker projects in clinical validation and positioning of biomarkers as well as development of new biomarkers.
• You create statistical designs and analysis plans and conduct analyses using statistical programming in R, document your work as well as report and explain statistical results in the project.
• You are part of national and international teams conducting clinical trials, specifying and verifying product quality, and specifying statistical algorithms for clinical practice.
• You work on complex tasks together with subject matter experts and translate them into statistical analyses.
• You are an active member of our biostatistics group and you develop our company-internal statistical portfolio in a sustainable way.

• Master or Diploma in statistics, mathematics or natural sciences, preferably PhD with statistics focus.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in applied statistics, preferably in industry, ideally in the fields of clinical studies, statistical design of experiments (DoE), quality control or product validation.
• Solid statistics knowledge, e.g. concerning ANOVA, linear mixed-effects models, logistic regression and survival analysis.
• Extensive programming experience, ideally in R or SAS.
• You are well organized and have very good communication skills.
• Very good command of English.
