  Job Summary

This is a newly-created role in CRL’s Procurement Group. This role will have the primarily responsibility for administering and managing the company’s cloud-based Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system with secondary support to include administration of other comparable Procurement modules.

The primary role includes serving as the single point of contact for end user support and as the liaison between Procurement, Legal, Operations, IT and our CLM vendor. You will work proactively to streamline and automate our contracting process. You will also need to become a resident expert on our existing processes, policies and systems and combine that with your knowledge of CLM tools to enable CRL to maximize its use of systems to improve the efficiency of contracting practices and meet future contracting needs. The role will work closely with numerous members of the Procurement, Legal, IT and Business departments and collaborate on a matrixed basis with functional leaders around the world. Primary duties and responsibilities CLM Implementation and Operation

• Serve as a critical member of the project team to implement and migrate to a new CLM system, including collaborating with the Procurement, Legal and IT Departments, other functional stakeholders (including Commercial Management, Finance, Procurement and Sales Operations), and the CLM vendor

• Manage the configuration, operation and maintenance of the CLM system, including its integration with other business systems and tools

• Deliver on ad hoc contract management requests and special projects, reporting and status inquiries

• Participate in assessing, refining and executing on future business requirements for the CLM system

CLM Support and Training

• Provide first level support for CLM training, data requests and dashboards / reporting

• Triage CLM system-related requests and provide day-to-day troubleshooting and technical support for end users, including coordinating troubleshooting support with the IT Department, the CLM vendor and suppliers.

• Onboard and train new users (both technical and non-technical) on the CLM system functionality and related processes

• Assist in developing CLM training materials and user manuals, and implement a train-the-trainer model as appropriate

Contract Templates, Processes and Practices

• Manage the company’s templates, playbook terms, and clause libraries for its commercial contracts with partners and suppliers (potentially customers).

• Design and configure new contract templates and process workflows

• Develop and leverage a strong working knowledge of Legal, Sales and Procurement business and contracting processes

• Maintain governance of CLM solutions and drive contracting best practices across the business to improve quality, accuracy and efficiency

Secondary duties and responsibilities

Support and Training on various Procurement Modules to include supplier registration, purchase orders, supplier relationship management, and others.

• Provide first level support for training, data requests and dashboards / reporting

• Triage system-related requests and provide day-to-day troubleshooting and technical support for end users, including coordinating troubleshooting support with the IT Department and the Procurement vendor

• Onboard and train new users (both technical and non-technical) on system functionality and related processes

• Assist in developing training materials and user manuals, and implement a train-the-trainer model as appropriate Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

• 3-5 years' relevant experience as a CLM systems administrator, preferably in corporate Procurement, Legal or IT department of a company in a comparable vertical and size or as a systems administrator of other comparable Procurement or Legal applications

• Experience in leading or actively participating in the implementation of a CLM system is strongly preferred

• Experience with developing and implementing system-driven workflows

• Proficiency with standard MS office tools, SAP and comparable Procurement Systems

• Exposure to commercial agreements and legal terms and conditions
