Lead, Editorial, Proofing, and Formatting – Buenos Aires, Argentina

IQVIA is seeking a Lead for our Editorial, Proofing, and Formatting team. This team is a division of Site Training Solutions, which collectively designs and delivers immersive and engaging clinical trial training tools and experiences.

Lead, Editorial, Proofing, Formatting

Work alongside our Medical Writers, Editor and Clinical Interpreters, and Creative Designers, contributing editorial expertise to ensure all Powerpoint presentations and other written training materials are letter perfect.  

Help drive timelines and manage workflows to ensure Powerpoint showreels are ready in time. Interface directly with presenters (usually by email).

The lead for this team will also handle performance reviews and oversee resourcing and process management, best practice, and overall strategy for the editing, proofing, and formatting division.

This position is home-based in Buenos Aires with frequent collaboration with a globally-distributed team. Please send a resume in English.

Who You Are

Seasoned:

You have extensive experience editing Powerpoint presentations for grammar, typos, formatting, and consistency within decks and showreels. Editorial experience in healthcare or other fields related to clinical research is a plus.

You know good grammar is a superpower, you have irrationally strong feelings about an Oxford comma, and you’re ready to be go to guy/gal for proper use of affect/effect.

Managerial experience, both of projects and of team members, is preferred.

Empathetic:

You have the desire to empathize with individuals, including a diverse global audience of physicians and care teams who are passionate about exploring new treatments for patients and improving the health of their communities.

Our presenters are super busy and – let’s be honest – they never get their presentations to you on time. You’re an iron fist in a velvet glove to help motivate them to meet deadlines.

Resourceful:

You may not know all the answers, but you have a proven track record of working through difficult challenges by independently researching potential directions, collaborating with others, and iterating to find solutions.
