Job Duties:
- Support sales excellence activities which include Account/customer segmentation and targeting as well as development and tracking of sales targets.  Provide knowledge sharing of best practice and lessons learned from customer experiences. Act as a link between the business and the general IQVIA sales organization, etc.
- Support sales enablement activities which includes the development of content training programs, delivery of training as needed, working with marketing to develop sales aids and case studies, development and implementation of programs and systems to improve both the quality and quantity of sales activities and sales of company products during each stage of the customer buying process. Ensure CRM, financial and other business processes are “fit for purpose” and used correctly.
- Engage customers in both sales (RFP responses, bid defenses) and non-sales cycles to better understand customer needs and challenges; refine all strategic decisions; build industry visibility, positioning and representing IQVIA Integrated Global Compliance as the premier compliance partner; and drive sales where applicable.- Respond to inquiries for solutions and services, and research prospects’ needs and spending patterns.- Work with business leaders to define positioning and overall strategy and provide range of support in process from organization to date data and evidence development.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor actions, economic developments, regulatory and market environment to identify and plan for impact on business strategy and operations.
- Translate data into evidence that informs strategy development and modification.
- Assess existing and potential markets and customer segments including trends; engage with internal stakeholders to understand business needs; conduct research and analysis; and translate data into executable and effective outputs and strategies to enable growth.
-Work with business leads and respective teams to identify whitespace, and work with business leaders to identify and analyze possible mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships to support strategy and financial goals. Plan, direct and implement certain aspects of the acquisition process as needed and work with corporate development to facilitate overall process.
- Lead, support and contribute to product development efforts as needed; support roll out and training for new products as needed; and develop forecast models to support decision making – investment requirements, Rol, sales targets, etc.
- Support marketing by hosting customer webinars and events, providing guidance around strategic priorities, ensuring content is provided and is accurate and supports larger marketing initiatives.

Travel Requirements: Yes, requires 10-20% domestic and international travel to meet with clients, internal stakeholders, and to attend conferences.

Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in life sciences or business administration or foreign equivalent and 8 years with a Bachelor’s, or 6 years with a Masters, or 4 years with a PhD of healthcare or technology industry progressively responsible experience demonstrating knowledge of industry issues and current developments by using and generating primary and secondary data including interview information, market research reports, annual reports, unstructured web based and opinion information; conducting quantitative and qualitative research and analysis techniques including forecasting, financial analysis, thematic analysis; managing and delivering projects, reports, presentations and analysis to senior level stakeholders and customers to agreed time and quality targets; and experience: developing commercial strategies for life science companies including positioning, go-to market and portfolio optimization; and development of account plans, labor forecasts and management of sales pipeline for commercial operations.
