As a people-leader in the immunology department, your role will be to:

Be the support-person for a team of 15-20 laboratory analysts by ensuring their continuous development through coaching and training;

Ensure you provide your team with the tools necessary to succeed, and realign them when necessary;

Provide regular feedback and recognition to your team in order to ensure a high-level of engagement;

Plan and oversee the workload of your team to ensure a good balance between efficiency, well-being and productivity;

Lead by example by collaborating closely with other members of the Immunology management team in order to ensure maximum teamwork between the technical and scientific staff;

Write and review Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs);

Perform technical work when required;

As the team is growing, participate in recruitment activities;

Create and maintain the most enjoyable working-environment for your team! Qualifications

Minimum, Collegial Diploma in technical laboratories or equivalent;

Experience in staff management is an asset;

Experience in a GLP compliant organization is an asset;

Reading and writing of English is required, bilingualism is preferable;

Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

Detail oriented and meticulous;

Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change;

Excellent ability to efficiently manage people, time and resource;

Demonstrated leadership ability.
