Senior Strategic Operations Director, MedTech

Position Overview:

If you have the ability to think critically and creatively, you can capitalize on your knowledge and your network as the Sr Strategic Operations Dir, MedTech Commercial and help us empower our teams to approach the delivery of our portfolio of solutions. In this role you will assume global accountability for successful project and program delivery across our portfolio of offerings to include robust and critical support for the MedTech Data initiative. We need proven leaders who can develop and implement strategic plans, set strategic goals, and partner with key stakeholders to provide high quality, client-oriented services, and drive teams to achieve our standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence and shape the direction of MedTech Commercial Solutions including recommendations regarding market dynamics, business initiatives and COE practices
  • Launch gold standard MedTech data including transaction data; patient data and reference data and any other data sets that addresses the needs of the industry
  • Take leadership role with manufacturers, distributions, wholesalers to build an ecosystem of direct sales
  • Work with local countries and wider IQVIA stakeholders to build local audits including indirect channels such as hospitals, tenders, claims etc
  • Develop compelling business cases to drive investments in MedTech Commercial Solutions area including building the data ecosystem
  • Participate in business development activities as required to support growth targets
  • Develop a high performing team – coach and train existing members, develop a culture of innovation
  • Partner with VP Commercial Solutions to provide strategic presentations to C-suite customers and internal executive meetings
  • Develop relationships with key customer accounts and engage through regular customer meetings for key accounts, providing executive oversight for designated client programs
  • Participate as a member of MedTech Commercial leadership team
  • Assist with effective strategic goals for MedTech Commercial Solutions and take ownership for strategic initiatives, including development of measures for success.
  • Established relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the MedTech ecosystem to influence strategy and growth agenda for MedTech Commercial solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong command of English language and superior presentation skills.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to balance operational and strategic priorities.
  • Ability to build and grow relationships with a network of key opinion leaders across MedTech.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater
  • 10 years of experience within the Healthcare industry
  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry.
