Pricing Manager

Job Summary

As part of IQVIA’s Human Data Science Cloud offering team, the Strategic Pricing Manager will develop consolidated and new pricing models for our Information Management Services offerings and API marketplace to support IQVIA’s strategic growth initiatives.  This role will be interacting with Sales and Product teams across U.S and Europe, developing customer-facing consolidated pricing across IQVIA offerings.

The ideal candidate will have some level of comfort with ambiguity as this brand-new offering development is tested with clients and refined as we expand in the next couple of years.  Strong collaboration and team leadership skills are a must as well as demonstrated resourcefulness, creativity and a desire to help IQVIA develop the offerings and bring them to market.

Essential Functions
•Provides integrated pricing support and vision across functions and therapeutic delivery units in support of customers and the Information Management business line.
•Ability to create/advise on new pricing models for IQVIA services including Information Management and API Marketplace.
•Works with internal customers to translate operational strategies into cost-competitive solutions that align with customer needs.
•Works with internal and external customers to create and implement traditional and non-traditional pricing/delivery alternatives, tactics and methodologies to meet customer needs.
•Contributes to the development, implementation and maintenance of our pricing tools.
•Contributes to discussions on business pricing/delivery strategy and direction and ensures a consistent application of our strategies across all opportunities.
•Negotiates financial and business terms for contracts involving traditional and non-traditional pricing models.
•Fully supports the management team to ensure all team goals and objectives are met.
•If needed, manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work
•Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
•   A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Management, Contracts Management, Finance and or Information Management, with up to 3 years direct pricing experience.
•  Or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
•  Knowledge of pricing, finance, operations, contract negotiations and Information Management.

•  Knowledge and ability to demonstrate strong product ROI.

•  Experience in building models around outsource engagements.
•   Strategic business and Industry awareness.
•   Strong analytical skills and experience in evaluating business plans.
•   Excellent attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities.
•   Experience and ability to help coach and mentor staff and supported teams.
•   Ability to design and implement pricing, delivery and budgeting strategies to drive growth for a large global organization.
•   Excel and financial analysis skills sufficient to support analysis and development of delivery strategies and budgets, pricing methodologies and systems.
•   Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers.
