We have an incredible opportunity for a Manager of Clinical Data Management to join the team.

Location: United States (home-based OR office-based)

Overview of the Role:

The Manager, Data Management is responsible for providing people leadership through direct line management of our (EMEA/Americas) Data Management team. They will ensure that the team deliver to exceptional quality and timelines, providing technical and process oversight as needed. In addition, they will mentor and develop individual team members and other staff with strategic support from Senior Management and provide resource planning estimates and forecasting projections on an ongoing basis.Recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement and people development with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.Ensure all work performed is of high quality, compliant with Good Clinical Practice, lCH Guidelines and all applicable laws and regulations.Ensure utilization metrics are recorded in a timeline and correct manner.Ensure effective resource allocation and workload balancing across assigned team members.Ensure productivity and quality targets are achieved, through perform benchmarking reviews and perform oversight of deliverables using different tools/ techniques and maintain and report relevant metrics.Work with our Talent Acquisition team (and other resources as required) to ensure we are recruiting top talentFoster a culture of performance management through the development, mentoring and operational management of the team's goals and objectives.Represent Data Management at internal / external audits and manage findings through resolution both operationally and within the Quality Management System.Actively participate in Business Development presentations to sponsors as required.Travel (up to 10%) domestic and / or international.

To be successful, you will need: 5+ years clinical data management experience preferably in a CRO or pharmaceutical settingA proven track record of managing high performing teamsStrong written and oral communication skillsProven leadership skillsAbility to work within a matrix team environmentAbility to manage competing priorities in a changeable environmentAbility to handle short deadlines and key priorities on an ongoing basisExcellent interpersonal skillsDue to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee's location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Driver's licenseBachelor's degree, or local equivalent, in information systems, science or related discipline
