  Job Summary  

BASIC SUMMARY:  

Responsible for development, implementation, and delivery of end user-based training on Digital Pathology-owned systems and programs for all Safety Assessment sites as applicable. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  Develop training programs for global staff and external customers on Digital Pathology systems, processes and procedures Develop the operational training programs for global rollout. Participate and carry-out rollout plans across sites and customers. Lead training initiatives to site or departmental leads for Digital Pathology applications across all applicable SA sites. Primary subject matter expert for internal and external user-group meetings, trouble-shooting initiatives, global committees/task forces designed to address training gaps and process flow. Participate in other corporate standardization and harmonization committees as required. Integrate activities with those of other major digital workstreams within Lab of the Future and Apollo  Keep abreast of professional information and technology through workshops and conferences.  Assist in providing, coordinating, and scheduling at new hire orientation and on-the-job training for all Digital Pathology personnel. Ensure that all training provided meets quality and regulatory requirements.  Provide additional training in these areas as needed. Maintain, develop, and update all documents and databases used for the support and conduct of training tasks including but not limited to training standards, training records, and training timelines. Collaborate with management, cross-site personnel, and internal/external resources to develop and implement new training techniques. Assist with the development, training, revision, and quality review of internal processes. Assist with SOP development, revision, implementation, and training. Practice/maintain basic and intermediate technical skills and procedures, work independently, and follow BOPs, SOPs and processes. May consult for clients on training topics. May provide guidance to less experienced training personnel and training assistants. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Up to 25% travel to NA CRL sites may be required periodically Job Qualifications  

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in technical writing, biology, or related educational discipline. Experience:  Six or more years related experience in operations, training or IT. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Other:  Experience working with both internal and external customers.  Ability to work independently and as a member of an integrated team.  Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.  Ability to interact with all levels of staff.  Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.  Familiar with appropriate regulations, guidelines and guidance for the conduct of studies in North America and Europe.    Strong oral and written communication skills in English is required.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Regularly required to work/type at a computer terminal for up to eight hours a day.   Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position will be fully remote Potential travel for in-person trainings
