  Job Summary  

We are currently seeking a Supervisor for our Data Management (Lab Sciences) group located in Senneville (West of Montreal), QC. 

 

 

The following responsibilities are related to the Supervisor position: 

  Ensure the optimal performance of your direct staff.  Ensure the implementation of performance, productivity and efficiency strategies including key performance indicators.  Ensure timely response to the staffing requirements and operational needs.  Oversee scheduling and long-term planning.  Ensure the staff has all that is required to perform their daily task.  Develop effective relationships and partnerships at all levels of the company.  Responsible for ensuring the overall quality of the department.  Review and maintain department budgets.  Identify areas where the implementation of improved processes is needed and put them in place.  Help with problem resolution.  Responsible for staff motivation and development. Ensure industry standards are met / exceeded through research and training. Ensure that government and company regulations for health and safety are followed. Perform staff evaluations and ensure appropriate disciplinary processes are put in place when necessary. 

  Job Qualifications  

The candidate should have: 

  Relevant experience in personnel management and science.
