font-family: calibri, sans-serif;">Become familiar with clinical trial data and drug development process </span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;">Develop SAS programs and output to create ADaM and client-defined analysis datasets, tables, listings and graphs. </span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;">Develop programs for data transfers and assist in their review to ensure the data transfer has been produced to specification</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;">Prioritize personal workload to meet specified completion dates</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;">Display a positive attitude at all times, promoting and contributing to good team spirit in a professional environment </span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;">Develop good problem solving skills and a willingness to learn and seek advice from senior Statistical Programming staff</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;">Carry out all activities according to Covance SOPs working within the framework of the Quality Management System and to Good Clinical Practice (GCP).</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;">Perform other duties as assigned by senior Programming staff</span></li></ul><h2>Education/Qualifications:</h2><ul><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">Working towards a MS in a computing, life science, mathematical or statistical subject or attending school to receive a degree</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">Alternative academic qualification or experience are assessed to ensure equivalent background</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">At least one SAS Programming class, preferably 2 (includes base and macro programming)</span></li></ul><h2>Experience:</h2><ul><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">0-6 months programming experience using SAS; Knowledge of fundamental principles of programming and program development</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">Some understanding of the clinical trial process</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize own work</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">Self motivation</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">Good time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards of work</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">Effective communication skills</span></li><li style="margin-left: .25in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">A cooperative and team oriented approach</span><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">*Start date - we are looking to fill this role quickly*</span></li></ul>
