Senior/Proposal Specialist

Work closely with Solution Consultants and Business Development to perform appropriate client/indication/ therapeutic area research to support proposal development

1. Lead, facilitate and add value to strategy meetings to:

o Identify issues and client requirements

o Identify key strategy team members

o Recommend proposal and study conduct strategy, and internal resourcing, based on experience

o Lead senior management and multi-disciplinary discussions to assure full and high-quality input

o Establish agreement on timelines and deliverables from the strategy meeting, and follow-up to ensure adherence

2. Write and create client-specific proposal text to:

o Accurately reflect strategy discussions

o Meet PAREXEL and client needs/expectations

o Assure accuracy and appropriateness of text and attachments

3. Draft budgets to:

o Reflect both PAREXEL and client needs, including first-run strategic output

o Assure accuracy, consistency, and competitiveness of budgets

o Facilitate pricing discussions with appropriately identified key decision-makers

o Ensure appropriate and accurate mapping to client budget specifications

4. Provide quality client deliverables to strict deadlines

5. Participate in client calls related to Requests for Proposals, budget discussions, Requests for Information, etc., as needed

Participate in proposal defense meetings with clientsQualificationsFluent in English, both oral and writtenBachelor’s degree in Life Science, Business or equivalentOne to two years of relevant experience in healthcare, clinical research, project management, contract research organization, or equivalent experience in a commercial support functionAbility too Lead internal strategy meetings
