Parexel is looking for a Senior Facilities Coordinator to join our HQ2 in Durham, NC ! In this role, you will provide support and assistance with everyday matters that require attention within the office. You will work closely with the receptionist, concierge, and facility coordinator to make sure the office is running smoothly and effectively. Activities: Supervise and ensure the effective and professional conduct of the main reception staff, housekeeping, mailroom, and switchboard services Back up Receptionist Assist with security measures onsite Coordinate the booking of all meeting rooms and shared facilities Coordinate the catering for internal or external meetings of staff and visitors as required by the various departments Procure and manage the use of office supplies and stationery onsite Administration and insurance of Company Pool Vehicles, parking Space Assignment / Parking Arrangements when needed Oversee general facilities, technical equipment, furniture repair and preventative maintenance Assist with space planning and/or move management Manage third party vendors if applicable Full management of mailroom activities Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots, etc. Complete assignments at management direction to support department QualificationsYour Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication Problem solver Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail Ability to work cross functional areas Experience in the use of hand tools for minor repairs Ability to learn and maintain technical systems, e.g., A/V, Security, Sound Masking, Lighting Controls, etc. Ability to represent PAREXEL to clients in a positive and professional manner Team player and team oriented Your Profile: A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software: Microsoft Windows Operating System and the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
