Technical Communication Intern (Summer 2024)

Join our Information Design team in Cincinnati as a Summer intern! We are seeking Technical Communication interns who can help us shape content and design into effective solutions for users.

As an intern, you will be an integral member of the Information Design team—a group of writers, designers, technical communicators, and other creative individuals who are passionate about improving lives. We provide creative guidance and develop compelling content, branding, documents, and trainings for a wide audience.

• Write clear and concise help documentation for proprietary clinical trial software
• Assist with developing effective training materials and e-learnings
• Experience the partnership between technical communicators and experts
• Shadow meetings to gain a better understanding of the audience and subject matter

Skills/Characteristics

• Understand the importance of user analysis and advocacy
• Care about the details and notice even small inconsistencies in language, visuals, and format
• Embrace new opportunities and balance tasks as priorities change

• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in professional writing, technical communication, or related field
• Local to Cincinnati or surrounding areas
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word
• Introductory knowledge of RoboHelp, Captivate, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
