Overview of the role:

Title: Laboratory Technician I

Location: On-Site (San Antonio TX)

Job Type: PRN (as needed)Duties:

  • Perform assays for the routine batch analysis of samples involving simple to complex analytical techniques.
  • Laboratory work completed to GMP/GLP standard.
  • Work in compliance with study plans, validation plans and all relevant SOP’s.
  • Document all work and results accurately, completely and follows GMP/GLP regulations and SOP’s.
  • Generate high quality analytical results.
  • Ensure smooth transfer of data to PIs and participate in evaluation and interpretation of data.
  • Operate general laboratory equipment and utilize automated data collection/reporting systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years laboratory experience is preferred.
  • MLT OR MT/MLS with ASCP Certification
  • Completion of medical technology training preferred
  • Experience (1+ year) in acute care, clinic, or outpatient care settings
  • Experience with chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis analyzers
