Senior Investigator Payments Systems Analyst

Job description

  • Learn IPG Systems and provide the following:
    • Approve Access for system users
      • Participate in quarterly systems user access reviews via the Sailpoint application
    • Support for end users via Service Now queue
      • Triage and troubleshoot Service Now tickets for end users by providing support/re-education to end users
      • Capture user feedback on system applications and/or associated operational processes and provide input to the Systems Manager.
      • Escalate application issues with a perceived high user impact to the Systems Manager and/or Support Manager, as needed.
      • Interface with IT to evaluate, resolve and communicate system related issues impacting users and escalate to Manager as applicable
    • Provide end user training
      • Proactively review system data and identify training needs or system issues
      • Proactively engage system users in discussion of system issues and provide training, or facilitate the development of training materials, under the direction of the Systems Manager
    • New Development and Bug fixes
      • Represent IPG Systems Development Team on cross-departmental meetings for new development projects
      • Assist in documenting detailed description of user needs/requirements and steps required to setup/modify systems
      • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new development projects or bug fixes
        • Create test cases and supporting testing documentation
        • Execute test plans/test cases and log and manage defects
        • Logs defects in a concise and descriptive manner in the appropriate tracking system
        • Communicates testing progress and can work with the scrum team
        • Document report requirements and partner with IT developers to test reports that support investigator payments
      • Provide management with feedback on efficiency of processes and suggestions for system improvements

For Consideration You Will Have:

  • Equivalent work experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Strong proficiency in using Excel for spreadsheet analysis.
  • Above-average attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking, analytical skills and a problem solver
  • Possess a want-to-learn attitude with the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to question and get clarity to create comprehensive testing plans and test cases.
  • Takes the initiative to find new ways to improve work, process, procedures
  • Ability to communicate work activities to relevant members of the team including lead and manager in an effective and concise manner

  • Ability to assess timelines and provide estimates on work assignments
