Education

• A bachelor's in engineering or a master's in computer science or equivalent is required

Experience

• Proven ability with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in Java development, with expertise in Spring Boot and microservice architecture
• Proficiency in REST APIs, JUnit, and Mockito
• Experience with databases, persistence frameworks, and SQL
• Solid design and programming experience and are very strong in programming fields like object-oriented principles, design patterns, data structures, and unit testing
• Significant experience using Agile Scrum development processes
• Experience with GitHub, Jira, and CI/CD tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience to Angular or any JavaScript framework
• Exposure to designing and building browser-based software user interfaces using modern languages and frameworks such as Bootstrap, HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, JSON/XML
• Exposure to Amazon Web Services or other leading cloud deployment platforms and services
• Knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and Jasper Reports is a plus
• Experience in working with geographically distributed teams
